This section acts as a repository of numerous software applications I've developed or adopted through the years. I typically add the software after testing it, cleaning up the code, and including helpful comments; so the uploading of code will be unpredictable. Find links to the code to the right.
The first piece of software is WaVE, which is a group of matlab code utilizing the psychtoolbox suite. This code demos how you can control the behavioral parameters (i.e. visual display, randomized trials, etc) and synchronizing event codes with a neural acquisition system (e.g. Plexon) with a modern computer running windows. See the accompanying J. Neuroscience Methods paper, and the instructions document inluded in the zip file.
The Analysis section includes various analysis tools I've written, specifically at Carnegie Mellon. Examples of functions are: spike density function; raster-histogram displays; displaying a bi-modal gaussian distribution of spike widths; organizing plexon data into matlab structures just to name a few. Since many of the functions will have to be modified to operate in a more modular fashion, this section will be a work in progress.
